1. Data controller

Qery AG, Switzerland operates qery.ch and is responsible for the processing of personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we process

Account data (email, name, hashed password), company profiles you claim or create, scan domains, tracked queries, and billing records. We never access your passwords in plaintext.

3. Purpose & legal basis

We process data to provide the service you requested (contract performance), to secure the platform (legitimate interest), and to issue invoices (legal obligation).

4. No sale, no AI training

Your data is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train AI models.

5. Hosting & transfers

Services run on servers in Switzerland. If we use subprocessors (e.g. payment providers), they are contractually bound and only receive what is necessary. Payment card data is handled by the payment provider, never stored by us.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Invoices are retained for 10 years as required by Swiss accounting law. You can request deletion of your account at any time (except invoicing records we must keep by law).

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and data portability under the revised Swiss FADP (DSG). Use [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies (session, language, CSRF) — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Security

Passwords are stored salted+hashed (scrypt), traffic is encrypted (TLS), and access is restricted.
